Manish Valiathan. B.D.S., M.D.S., D.D.S., M.S.D
Dr. Manish Valiathan received his dental (BDS) and specialty training in Orthodontics (MSD) from the College of Dental Surgery, Manipal, the number 1 ranked Dental College in India. After briefly serving on the Orthodontic faculty in Manipal, he joined Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland where he retrained and graduated from the School of Dental Medicine (D.D.S) and the Orthodontic program (M.S.D). He has worked on the full-time faculty for over 20 years and is a tenured professor with joint appointments in the departments of Orthodontics and Plastic Surgery in the school of Medicine. He founded the first University based Craniofacial Orthodontic Fellowship Program in the United States in 2011.
With over fifty peer reviewed publications he is an active member of the Craniofacial Biology Research group at Case. His research focus is on craniofacial growth, craniofacial clinical outcomes and post orthodontic changes. Dr. Valiathan is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontists. Dr. Valiathan serves as the Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs at Case Western Reserve University. He also maintains a private practice in the suburbs of Cleveland while focusing his intra-mural clinical responsibilities on surgical and craniofacial orthodontics.
